1. Make the proper commitment- it is all to common for women to put off losing weight so that they can look after their baby or do the house work. 4.Set a goal for yourself- setting a realistic goal will help you stay motivated on your way to lose weight after birth.
5.Walk as much as possible- where ever possible walk over driving the car. if you are only going to the shops down the road have a little walk we are all guilty of driving to much but when it comes to losing weight you much think of all the little extra ways you can in order to lose weight.
6.Skip dessert- Don’t indulge in high sugar sweets and snacks so do all you can to skip as many desserts as you can.
7.Breastfeed- It has been proven that breastfeeding can burn up to 500 calories a day. so breastfeed as long as you can.
8.Put Breakfast Back on the menu- Eating breakfast is a good start to the day so that is get your body in a fat burning mode.
9.Exercise for 30 minutes a day- exercise is good in so many way if you do aerobic exercises it burn fat has highers your metabolism which help you burn more fat throughout the day.
10. Share your Goals with others- sharing your weight loss goals with other will help you on your way they can give you encouragement to help you reach your targets, who knows they might even join in.
Also remember it took 9 months to put that weight on, so it’s not unrealistic to take nearly as long to work it off. Give yourself time to achieve your goal.

Of course, these small “meals” do not have to be full sized meals. Dividing your existing portions into several meals is also a good way to keep eating a steady flow of calories throughout the day. For example, a half of a tuna sandwich and a piece of fruit is around 400 calories, the perfect size for a quick midday snack. There are a number of healthy snacks you can keep on hand to give you a between-meals boost.
You’re not deprived of your favorite “goodies” just because you are living a healthier lifestyle overall. You can still add in some “forbidden” foods. Just do so in moderation. Since you are not on an extreme crash diet, there are no foods that are completely off-limits.
Because you’ve done the right thing and adopted a healthier lifestyle, give yourself a treat yourself during one of your snack breaks. A single piece of chocolate or candy or cake won’t de-rail your otherwise sensible diet.
Better than that, giving yourself permission to enjoy your favorite foods is the best way to loose weight and keep it off for the long run.

Recently in the United States, a new form of weight loss surgery was approved. Previously, your choices were limited to a Biliopancreatic Diversion or the Lap Band surgery. This new surgery is the Mini Gastric Bypass or otherwise known as the MGB.
It has met with phenomenal success and many people are turning to the MGB as a way to lose substantial weight and keep it off. If you are interested in the MGB, then it is imperative that you know how the surgery works and what you can expect from it.
The mini gastric bypass surgery is similar to the Roux-en-Y surgery in that a portion of the stomach is stapled to create a smaller stomach pouch. In both, the stomach is reattached to a different portion of the intestine. But that is where the similarities end. The RNY procedure involves a longer operating time, a longer hospital stay and a longer recovery time due to the large incision on the abdomen.
MGB works by taking the esophageal tube and a minor portion of the stomach. Then a length of the intestine is connected to the newly formed stomach. The stomach and intestine are not as lengthy as in the RNY surgery.
The added advantages are that the surgery time is usually less than thirty minutes and the hospital stay is less than twenty-four hours. Many patients report that they are up and walking around two hours after the surgery. This is far better than the days you could spend in the hospital for the Biliopancreatic Diversion surgery. It is on par with the Lap Band weight loss surgery though.

In the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology 1996 a report regarding meta-analysis (comparing multiple studies) showed that adding hypnosis increased weight loss by an average of 97% when people were being treated. Whilst in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology 1986 a study was carried out on 60 women and they were separated into hypnosis versus non-hypnosis groups. It was found that those women using hypnosis lost an average of 17lbs whilst those in the non-hypnosis group only lost an average 5lbs.

Few commercialized areas of science are so stuffed with fables as that centered around losing weight. Everybody would like a straightforward, safe, no-willpower solution. Sometime , we may get one. You will have read this one: eating ice cream essentially causes weight loss. The supposed concept is that since ice cream is cold, and it takes energy ( measured in calories ) to heat it up, your body is consuming energy while eating.

Vigorous workouts also raises the metabolic rate for a day, burning about 250 calories more than if one hadn’t exercised. A brisk walk will do so also, but at a significantly lower level. It’s still a smart idea to workout every other day and walk on the non-workout days. It keeps the muscles toned, stretched helping stop the lactic acid buildup that causes sore muscles.
The actuality is if you’re taking in more calories than your body uses the remaining energy is stored, usually in the shape of chemical bonds in fatty tissues. When the body needs more energy that you have supplied, it’ll turn to those fat stores to get some required energy. That leads to lower fat in the body and weight loss. Unfortunately, in today’s visual society, people tend to judge others by their appearance and though this is a cruel fact of life, it is the cause for so many people mistakenly believing that they must be much thinner. You see, all the TV and visual merchandising tend to hard-wire our brains into believing this. Because the media determines who is attractive and who isn’t, their influence is, unfortunately, our obsession and with this visual attraction social world, the desire to lose weight grows more and more everyday; thus, your God given natural thighs may appear to you to be much larger than they really are.
Have no fear though for the shrinking of your thighs can be accomplished. Since the thigh fat is attached to one of the body’s largest working muscles, and since your legs can be worked hard and often, losing thigh fat may be accomplished in a relatively short time.
The very best way for you to start your thigh fat losing program is to start walking frequently and briskly. This will cause the oxygen in your body to flow more freely to the areas that need it, like the large leg muscles. This causes your legs to prepare for further, more vigorous work. Once you get started, and if you stick with it, you’re going to discover that you find yourself wanting to do other physical things like maybe swimming, playing racquet ball or basketball. How about tennis? The more active you are, the more active you want to be. This is your body experiencing joy and you should listen to it.
Keep up the program and soon you’ll have those beautiful thighs that you want. The really important thing to remember is that you’re going to have to diet some while you’re exercising. As a matter of fact, depending on your overall weight, you’ll probably have to diet extensively in order to keep your body size in perspective.

MYTH: YOU’RE STUCK WITH THE METABOLISM YOU HAVE, AND YOU CAN’T CHANGE IT.
Truth: We all seem to know people who can “eat whatever they want and never gain weight†or those who “just look at food and put on 10 pounds.†But lifestyle plays a big part in determining the calories you burn per day. While it may appear that there are people who eat all the time and never seem to gain, chances
are they make healthy, relatively low-calorie selections naturally. And many of these people burn more calories through what is called Non-Exercise Activity Thermogenesis (NEAT)–basically, they move around a lot during the day. But the reason this may work is not because of anything magical about grapefruit. It’s simply a watery, low-calorie food that takes up space in the stomach that might normally be taken up by higher-calorie foods. MYTH: IF I CUT CALORIES, MY METABOLIC RATE WILL SLOW DOWN, SO WHAT’S THE POINT OF EXERCISING?
